I spent a good amount of time this weekend watching the funeral of Senator Teddy Kennedy. I’ve for a long time been a fan of the Kennedy’s and have done much research on their lives, politics, etc. Teddy Kennedy was a champion when it came to the LGBT community. He went far and beyond in focusing on rights that should belong to everyone. He was an icon. We need more like him.
I think today was probably the nicest day of the year. Sunny, nice breeze, no humidity. A keep the windows open type of day. I love those days.
I have my first East Coast Yoga class this Tuesday. I’m not proud to say that it’s been 3+ years since I’ve done Yoga in a studio. But, at least I’m getting back to it. 3 years too late.
Next weekend is Labor Day weekend. Veggie Burgers on the grill. I love the whole cookout scene.
Life is pretty cool.
