Is this enough?

Last nights show was much better than any other show I have been a part of on Blogtalk.

It’s still no where close to what I would like. But, it’s coming along. John and Lynden calling in helped it move along very smoothly and at times actually pretty funny. Thanks to the both of you. I hope you’ll keep calling.

My parents and niece have been here since yesterday. They just left for the pool about 15 minutes ago. I stayed home and am doing some work (aside from this blogging) and waiting to see if I receive any phone calls for a new job. It’s still hot as fuck. But, the weather forecast is predicting a cool down over the weekend. I can’t wait. The East Coast is pretty cool aside from the bullshit hot, humid weather. That alone brings up my cravings to someday get back to San Francisco. I’ve heard people bitch and moan about SF weather. I never quite understood it. Maybe you just have to really be into fog as I am to truly appreciate it.

HOT

Posted in Uncategorized on June 27, 2007 by Frizz

It’s brutal hot today in Southern Delaware. It makes it hard to move at times. However, it could be worse. I’m thankful for what I have.

Tonight is the online radio show. If you get the chance check it out HERE.

eyes of the world

Right outside this lazy summer home
you don’t have time to call your soul a critic, no
Right outside the lazy gate of winter’s summer home
wondering where the nuthatch winters
Wings a mile long just carried the bird away

Wake up to find out
that you are the eyes of the World
but the heart has its beaches
its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you
are the song that the morning brings
but the heart has its seasons
its evenings and songs of its own

There comes a redeemer
and he slowly too fades away
There follows a wagon behind him
that’s loaded with clay
and the seeds that were silent
all burst into bloom and decay

The night comes so quiet
and it’s close on the heels of the day

Wake up to find out
that you are the eyes of the world
but the heart has its beaches
its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you
are the song that the morning brings
but the heart has its seasons
its evenings and songs of its own

Sometimes we live no
particular way but our own

Sometimes we visit your country
and live in your home

Sometimes we ride on your horses
Sometimes we walk alone
Sometimes the songs that we hear
are just songs of our own

Wake up to find out
that you are the eyes of the world
but the heart has its beaches
its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you
are the song that the morning brings
but the heart has its seasons
its evenings and songs of its own
